The Member Emergency Relief Fund (MERF), was designed for part-time faculty who are experiencing a hardship as a result of assignment reductions. Union members can apply for up to $500 in emergency assistance, which will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with the criteria detailed on the MERF application. For our part-time faculty only, please see the links below. Every semester, the district records and publishes your load, and has always published it for our faculty to check. We at PFT have published these records also. Right now, if you are a part-time faculty member, or a part-time faculty in the preferred hiring pool, and you would like to check your status and ensure that you have been credit for the courses you are teaching, check below, according to your Peralta campus. 

Check your numbers for accuracy, and keep in mind that your updated course load numbers will be posted after the fourth week in the coming fall semester, so check then as well. Feel free to contact PFT with any lingering questions you have about last Spring or the coming Fall.
